BENEFITS

PROMOTES MUSCLE DEVELOPMENT
The Best on Horse Training System helps to develop neck and back muscles. The System helps the horse to stretch its back and neck hence making it easier when under the saddle.

BALANCE
By lunging your horse in the Best on Horse Training System it helps your horse to find rhythm and balanced. It will help you horse to shift the weight from the forehand by engaging its hind quarters hence finding correct balance.

GUIDE
As with all training it is better to begin slowly for a short time and then build up. Therefore, it is suggested you begin in work and trot once the trot is established and your horse is balanced, progress to canter.

NOTE: To avoid your horse becoming stiff and sore keep the working session to a reasonable length of time. Any adjustments must be made at the rear of the system.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Clip the breeching strap to the back of roller point 4.

STEP 2
Pass the bit clip through the Middle Ring on Roller and fasten to the bit. Repeat on off side.

STEP 3
Fasten the loose clip in desired position for the first few weeks of work recommend use position 1 i.e. clip to roller between the horse front legs.

STEP 4
Please ensure the horses nose is beyond the vertical line in walk. Ensure you do not over restrict your horse

1) STRETCHING THE TOP LINE
When first using the Best on Horse Training System always start off in position one. This encourages the horse to stretch his top line and create correct muscle tone. You can use the system approximately 2/3 times a week for 20 minute sessions. Use in this position at least six weeks before progressing. Some users prefer to use this position only!

2) ENGAGING THE HOCKS
This lifts the horse off the forehand and encourages him to engage his hocks correctly under him. Attach loose ends to Rings 2

3) INTERMEDIATE
The horse should be relaxed through the jaw and top line
This allows the horse to even further engage the hocks and find correct balance in canter. Hence making it easier when under saddle.

4) ADVANCED
This position is recommended only for use by professionals with horses working and competing at an advanced level. Attach to ring 3 on opposite sides.

Leather colours

It is impossible to get two items made of tan, dark tan, brown or Havana leather exactly the same colour.

Every piece of leather is different

A saddle is made from different types of leather, some parts of the saddle – for example seat, flaps, panels, girth straps, require leather giving different characteristics compared to other parts. We need to use different leather types for different parts, which means leather from different animals, different suppliers, different tanning processes or tints. So it is impossible to achieve exactly the same colour.

For a group of products such as a saddle, bridle, girth, reins there will always be different nuances in colour. So for example a tan bridle, saddle and girth will be in a tan spectrum but there will be variations in the actual colour, including the saddle which has to be made of different grades of leather, giving different shades.

It is the same with clothing, a cotton polo shirt in blue, will be a different shade to a blue jumper or a pair of trousers. All will be blue but different shades of colour because of the different materials.

So when ordering a saddle, or any other leather item, it is necessary to take into account that it is not possible to guarantee an exact match of colour.

The colours shown in the catalogue photographs are for guidance

In our catalogue (including social media and our website www.zaldi.com) we use digital printing to show the ranges of colours available,  but this is for guidance as the colours can vary depending on the set up of each computer screen or mobile phone display. Also taking into account the differences in perception from one person’s eye to another we can only give the colours as a guide. To get a 100% colour match to the original is impossible.

0 MINUTE
When you put your new saddle on the horse, it seems that it does not fit at all… It is necessary a bit of time for it to fit… Relax!

1-15’ MINUTES
Girth your saddle, although it will be a bit loose and it seems it does not fit yet. Don’t despair! Get on the horse…

15 - 60’ MINUTES
The panels start to adapt to the back of the horse in the correct way. It is possible now to girth it one or two holes tighter.

5 - 10 HOURS
While riding, the saddle continues to adapt. The distribution through the panels of our weight helps to reach a perfect a fitting and adaptation. We can adjust the girth a bit more.

+15 H HOURS
We get an ideal fitting. We feel comfortable on the saddle while it rests/leans where and how it should on the back of the horse. We can now adjust the girth firmly.

DON´T DESPAIR!! Remember that there is a necessary fitting time. Trust ZALDI!!!
